Happy New Year 2014

We rung in the new year pretty laid back at our house.  The girls played and went to bed at their normal time.  While we let Harrison stay up and watch Wreck it Ralph and video games with dad.  He was in heaven.

Then we went out and lit off some small fireworks and sparklers.  Again, this kid thought new years was the best holiday ever!

We watched the ball drop in NYC and had some Martinelli's before putting Harrison to bed.  It has been a great start to 2014!

A new decade

Yup, I'm giving myself my own post and announcing to the web world that I have entered a new decade in my life and am enjoing all there is about being in my 30s!  That is still hard to say, but after a great but very mental birthday, I have wrapped my head around it and I'm excited.  It will be great!

My husband made me an awesome cake and we went to some friends house for a Christmas party so he made me dinner the next night.  It was awesome and stretched my birthday out over the weekend.  I like it that way.
Me and my awesome kids.  I always hoped to have 3 kids by the time I was 30 and was blessed to accomplish that goal.

I got some great gifts and did some shopping for myself as well. Raegan loves all the party time!
It was a great day where I felt the love of so many people.  I feel truly blessed in my life right now and I'm looking forward to my next 30 years!  *Insert Tim McGraw lyrics*

4 months

Not to be overshadowed too much by Christmas, this little lady hit the 4 month mark in her short but wonderful life. She went to the Dr. just days before and is growing well.  She is just shy of 16 lbs and 25 in. with a head in the 90th percentile!  She is still a very chill baby, but is exploring with her voice.  She loves to yell out and make lots of noise, so keeping her quiet can be interesting.  She is still a great sleeper and eater and won't take a bottle much or a pacifier.  She still loves to smile, is getting better at tummy time and loves to sit up in the exersaucer and for a little while in the Bumbo.  Really not much has changed in the last month.  We are still in love with this little girl and love watching her grow. I will say, she has red cheeks in the pictures because we have learned that when she is tired, she gets these red cheeks.  It's pretty cute.  But what isn't cute about this little one?

Merry Christmas 2013

We had an awesome Christmas.  Here is the promised picture of our tree actually decorated.  These are all the presents under our tree too...kind of insane, but luckily Santa only fills stockings and brings 1 gift, so it doesn't get much crazier.
Santa dropped by on Christmas Eve with some new pjs.
The kids loved the tree.
We finally got the exersaucer down for Bode so she could enjoy some time sitting up while Christmas craziness happened around her.
The kids each open a gift of their choice on Christmas Eve.  Raegan got pjs for her and her doll that matched from Grandma and Grandpa Willerth.
Harrison got a mining Lego City Lego set from Grandma and Grandpa Willerth.
Our tree on Christmas Eve night when we are all tucked in our beds.
Santa Came!
Christmas morning all in our pjs but before checking out the goods from Santa.

Getting into the stockings and seeing what Santa brings is a favorite.  Raegan loved her new Bear Chair.
Harrison loved his Legos and chocolate from Santa.

The Ward tradition of Christmas Crunch.

The organized chaos of opening presents.

And there weren't a lot more pictures because it was a different sort of Christmas.  We didn't do a big breakfast and we do a big dinner on Christmas eve, but a big chunk of our day was spent resting, playing with new things and talking to this awesome missionary in Ukraine.  It was great to see her and talk to her and she "met" Bode for the first time.
It was a great, layback Christmas and I wouldn't have it any other way.  It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!

Raegan is 2!

This little girl is a firecracker and we love her so much!  I can't believe she is 2 already!  She had a great birthday weekend.  We had dinner and presents on Friday night before Deana left for Chicago.  Raegan was tired (and she got shots at the dr. that morning), but had fun opening presents.  She didn't quite understand why we made her stop and didn't let her open all the presents under the Christmas tree, but she had fun.  She got books, a new stroller for her dolls, a balance bike and a bike helmet.

Then on Saturday she helped me make her cake and we celebrated with a friend on Sunday (her real birthday).
She loves Clifford books so I made her a Clifford cake.  She loved it.
Her sweet friend brought her a present and she got a little play hair kit.  It was fun watching the girls play with it.
We love this little girl and can't imagine how boring life would be without her.  She is a little on the small side for her age, but she makes up for that in attitude.  She is speaking better every day and probably has 10 words that people can recognize and a few sounds that have to be deciphered for different situations.  She loves to echo as we say prayers too.  She loves to play dolls, Legos and swing.  She also loves to look at books and be read too.  Her favorites are Clifford, Elmo and animal, bug or baby books.  She loves bubbles and being outside.  She also loves to copy her brother and help me take care of her sister.  She is a great sleeper and a pretty good eater.  Her favorite foods are cheese, yogurt, milk, crackers and ranch dressing.  She needs her bear to fall asleep at night and loves to suck her thumb when she has her bear. She is getting more adventurous and interactive everyday.  This little girl makes us laugh and she loves to smile.  Ask her to tell you her Knock knock joke about cheese and she will make you laugh :)  Happy 2nd birthday Angel Girl!  We love you!!
