Some Bode in Action

These days we usually find Bode sitting up with her tongue poking out the side of her mouth.
Or she is army crawling with an attempt at a real crawl all over the house.
Or she is enjoying her next meal in the high chair.  She does sit still and play with toys for a little while, but only if we are there with her.  Otherwise, this girl is on the move!

8 months

Time just keeps on flying! 8 months and this girl has 3 teeth, sits up well, army crawls her way around everywhere, eats whatever we give her (and plenty that we don't!) and loves to be close to people she knows.  I am amazed at the amount of personality that fits in these little bodies!  She is even starting to pull up and grab at stuff, but doesn't quite have down the standing yet.
She loves to stick out her tongue and laughs a lot.  She puts just about anything in her mouth and loves to play around her siblings and grab for whatever toy she can get from them!
She sleeps about 10 hours a night now as long as she is feeling well (teething has brought on a lot of congestion) and usually goes down awake with no problems.
Bode continues to be the dream third child.  She has quite the personality and we are noticing that although she is mild mannered, she is not as easy going as we thought.  She lets us know quite often if she wants or needs something or someone.  And she is noticing familiar people and prefers people she see often.

Fun times

We went and fed the HPD Mounted Police horses again this year with Harrison's school group.  It was fun and Harrison really loved it.  He did not want to get slobbered on by the horses, but other then that, he fed them everything we brought.
Raegan was a little more scared this year.  She let me hold her hand up to the horse to help her, hence, no in action shots.  But she did like carrying around a carrot or peppermint and I noticed a bite or lick out of them often!
Bode just stayed in her stroller and was well behaved and cute like always!

Harrison and one of his good friends just hanging out talking out by the horse pastures.
Trying to get a picture of the kids at the end.
And just because it was too cute to leave off, but I wasn't sure where to put it, a cute picture of all the kids swinging together.  I just love these three and can't wait to see all the fun they will have together!

Easter 2014-With Additions

So, I know I'm way behind, but I'm trying.  Here are some of our Easter adventures!
Our neighborhood put on an Easter party and egg hunt.  It was during nap time so I just took Harrison. He had a blast!
Egg hunting.
 A basket full of goodies.
They had a bounce house and a bounce slide.
He got a balloon sword and brought home a balloon flower for Raegan.
We decorated eggs the night before Easter.  The kids loved it.  We only did a dozen and I only colored one...note to self, we like hard boiled eggs so we should let our kids color more!

 Bode just hanging out watching!

 Pretty colorful bunch!

Easter morning was a fun one for the kids.  We all woke up and went looking for our hidden baskets.  Harrison needed his rabbit glasses to help him I guess!

Harrison's basket was behind the lazy boy, Bode's was in the fire place and Raegan's was in her baby bed.

The kids got candy, books, change and the girls got some new hair bows.

I made matching skirts for the girls.  Bode was hard to model as she is not standing and wouldn't lay back either.  Oh well, they both looked like Raegan's!
After a fun morning at home eating candy and eggs we headed to church and really focused on Christ. I taught Harrison's primary class and we talked all about a Christ-centered Easter.  It was a great day!

Phone Pics

I have a lot of pictures on my phone and iPad, but have been having trouble getting them up here.  So, here are a few highlights that worked and hopefully I can figure this out!

Messy faces

Enjoying the outdoors!

Being silly.
So tired...she rarely falls asleep while being held, so I wanted to document and then I didn't want to put her to bed.
She loves getting into everything!
