The big 6!

My baby turned 6!  It was a fun weekend with a lot of activities and I think he really enjoyed it.  On the Friday before his birthday we had a big party with his friends.  It was a Lego themed party.

His friends played some games, colored, smashed in the piƱata and ate a lot of pizza and cupcakes with ice cream.

Harrison got a masive amount of presents from his awesome friends.

Blowing out his candle.

He told me his party was awesome because when you love Legos "Everything is Awesome" right?

Then on his actual birthday it started with the traditional breakfast in bed.  He wanted Pop Tarts.

After church he got to be in charge so after some games with dad and playing with all his new stuff from his birthday party, then we opened more presents from family.

His sisters got him a Superman Lego set and Jeff and I got him a Ninjago hoodie and a birthday party :)

Grandma and Grandpa Willerth got him a Lego storage system.

Grandma and Grandpa Ward gave him money which he spent on a Captain America shooter thing and a new light saber.

Jeff and I teamed up to make a cupcake Lego head.

Everyone liked it.

So happy I got to celebrate another birthday with my oldest baby!  He is my favorite little guy and so sweet.  He is kind, loving, funny, silly and loves to play rough.  He is all boy but still will play with his sisters (even if it is babies!).  He is just the best and I love watching him grow and mature!  Happy birthday sweet Harrison!

Soccer Star

This is Harrison's third soccer season and he is loving it.  We debated on signing him up since Jeff is busy with school every other weekend and I end up with all 3 kids by myself at every other game, but he wanted to play.  And he has done really well.  He has scored some great goals and really loves to play defense.  He also gets really excited for his team mates and cheers really well for his whole team.

I am pretty busy during the game so I brought my camera one week when Jeff was there and managed to get some good shotes and document his soccer season.
Huddle with the coach.

His sister wondering during the game.

That's some good defense.

Harrison's cheering section in the background.
The next few are a sequence of Harrison scoring a goal.  I was pretty proud.

He's pretty proud too!

I'm glad he likes soccer and I think we will be watching him play for many seasons to come.
