Still Pregnant!

Well, I thought for sure our little Harrison would come early, but it turns out he had another plan in mind.  We are now one day overdue and Jeff and I are really hoping that he comes soon.  I have decided to stop working as of my due date so I had today off and despite some good time to relax and clean my house, I am pretty bored.  I really hope he decides to come soon.  I do have my induction set for October 14th but I still don't know if I can wait another week!  But on a better note, a few weeks ago, Jeff and I went and got pictures done at Target.  I wanted to do some pictures together with me pregnant and it was kind of an anniversary present.  Anyway, hopefully the next post will have a third member of the Ward family!

 

Getting Closer!

Well, after what has felt like a really long pregnancy, we are now closing in on 5 weeks.  Some days we think he will come early and other days we think he might come late.  (I am hoping for right on time!)  I have too much to do in school for him to come too early and too much planning and fixing if he comes late.  

So, right before school started, we decided to go away for the weekend and enjoy our last trip as just a couple.  We went up to a resort in Park City and spent a wonderful weekend relaxing and swimming.  I loved the heated pool and Jeff loved the hot tubs.  Anyway, the picture is from us in Park City.  Next time I will try to post some prego pictures but I just think they are all so weird.  

Summer Vacation

Well, I am still so new to this whole blogging thing and right now I feel like there isn't much to share but still I figured and update now and then would be good. I am enjoying my nice summer vacation and Jeff is also. Work is slow for him but he is keeping himself busy with summer classes and looking for a job after graduation (which will be in December of this year!) so we are both enjoying the down time before life goes crazy in the fall. Since I haven't been very good about posting pictures either I am going to try now. This is me at 27 weeks and my older sister who is also pregnant but almost 7 weeks behind me. You can tell who is going to be bigger though! At least for a while.

just getting started

Well, I am new to the blogging world but here this is a great way to keep people updated. So, hopefully I keep up with this and stay in touch a little better.
As far as life these days, Jeff and I are enjoying life in Provo. I just finished up my second year of teaching and could not be more excited to have a summer to relax and focus on all that I want to do before the baby comes in October. I will be returning to teaching in the fall for one more year and maybe Jeff will be a stay at home dad for a little while.
Jeff is almost done with school and will graduate in December of this year! He is working on some different construction jobs and is in the process of trying to get his own business going. He is very excited and we hope it all starts to work out for him.
Our biggest news right now is our new baby that is coming in October. Although at the last Dr. appointment they said he was growing a week big so he might end up coming at the end of September. We are having a boy and could not be more excited. I was talking to a friend today and realizing that this last year has been a big one for us. We have helped buy a house, decided to have a baby, redone part of this house and now are landlords for it. It has been a really great and exciting past year. Hopefully the future brings more great things to us.
