Texas Bluebonnets 2014

For family night a few weeks ago we caught the Bluebonnet season.  I wanted to get some pictures of my kids in the annual wild flowers.

They were beautiful and the flowers were nice too ;)

Getting 3 kids to smile isn't easy, but I think we still got some good shots.  I just love these kids!

March Madness

Besides our big Spring Break trip and our normal routine, we fit in some other things during the month.

An outside picnic.
I ran my first ever 10K.  It was a lot of work and training for months and the day we ran was nearly 100% humidity and we got caught in traffic, but I did it!  Thanks to Deana for watching my kids while I ran and having them at the finish line to cheer me on!  I didn't do as well as I hoped, but I did it in just over 60 minutes.  I was happy with it!
Harrison is really into Star Wars since coming back from Disneyland.  He dresses up in his superhero stuff and runs around with his light sabers most days!
We went on a little family hike one Friday afternoon.  It was supposed to be about a mile, but the kids wanted to do the whole loop so we hiked 3.2 miles with all 3 kids.  Crazy, but we did it.  This is about 2 miles in and Harrison was helping his little sister...so cute!
And although it wasn't quite March anymore...Harrison made everyone some Brownies for April Fools day.  He was so proud of his brown-e's!  He kept playing tricks and he would say "April Fools Trick". I thought it was pretty cute :)

7 months

This little girl just keeps growing and growing and this month was no exception.  She has changed a lot from 6-7 months including getting her first tooth.  She is only 4 months ahead of Harrison and 6 months ahead of Raegan.  In fact, she was grumpy for a day or 2 and I didn't think much of it and then she was chewing on my fingers (which she often does) and I felt the tooth.  I was shocked, but teething seems like it might be easier with this one (fingers crossed!).

She still loves to eat and besides having a rough time with apples, she has loved just about every food we have given her.  Raegan has even tried giving her some of her snacks and we have had to be careful about that.
Bode is sitting up now and does really well.  She isn't very good at transitioning from sitting up to scooting so she will usually fall on her face, but she is getting better.

She scoots some but rolls a ton.  She gets across the room pretty quickly just by rolling around.  It is pretty funny to watch.
Bode used to sleep through the night consistently but now it is more of an every couple of nights thing. I think it is the teething and maybe she is growing too.
She is still so smiley and we just love her.  She is recognizing faces and liking to be more with familiar faces.  Can't wait to see what happens next in the wonderful life of Bode!!

I go these done just before she hit the 7 month mark.  Enjoy...I know I did/do!
