7 months

Raegan hit her 7 month mark while we were on vacation at Grandma and Grandpa's house.  Good thing we brought her bear.  I can't believe how fast she continues to grow.  This last month she has grown and experienced a lot of firsts.  First plane trip(s)-which all went really well, first long car trips-also went really well besides traffic in Chicago which delayed us 2 hours and she was starving!  First vegetable experience-carrots-she likes!  Second fruit (she had watermelon before)-apples-she is still trying to decide on those!
She continues to be a good sleeper, despite time zone changes and not sleeping in her own bed.  She loves her thumb, her brother and eating.  She loves to play with toys and just within the last few days has started sitting up better on her own.  She will still fall sometimes, but not because of strength.  She isn't crawling yet, but prefers rolling as her method of transportation.  She will scoot her legs under her, but still no movement.  She is a big smiler, still not a big laugher and loves all the people she has been around for the last month.  She lets me pass her around and as long as she isn't too hungry or tired, she smiles and goes to just about anybody.  She puts up with dogs, but isn't a big fan.  She will put anything close to her in her mouth and we have introduced a sippy cup, just with water.  Not so great at it yet, but we are getting there.  She is very observant and loves to watch what people are doing.  I love watching her grow and seeing the things that are similar to her brother and also how she is so different from him!  What a blessing this sweet girl is!

6 months

Raegan hit her 6 month mark back on June 22!  I know I am late with the post but the pictures are accurate and the information too.
We took her to the Dr. right on her day (poor girl got 3 shots!) and she is healthy and growing.  She weighted in at 16 lb. 6 oz and almost 25 in. tall.  Her head didn't grow more then a quarter in. from last check up so that brought her percentile down.

Raegan is learning and growing.  She loves to be around people and play with them or just watch them play. She especially loves her brother and the hours of entertainment he provides.  She has only eaten rice cereal but does really well with it now.  It was a slow start, but she already does better then her brother ever did with baby food.
She is sleeping well.  She is still doing about a 12 hour stretch with a feeding somewhere in there.  She is recognizing her name when we call to her and loves to smile.  She has what we call a coughing laugh.  It is cute but hard to get her to laugh much.  She is ticklish and is now rolling all over the place.  She can hit a wall and then roll the other direction.  Watch out for her!
She is still a thumb sucker and almost always is sucking her left thumb.  Some of her nicknames include: Chunky Monkey Girl, Thumper, and Sweet Girl.  She is a joy to our family and we love having her with us.
