The Girls

Well, these girls love to be the center of attention and the camera.  Bode just does some funny things and if I get the camera out, Raegan is right there wanting her picture taken.  Harrison has to be asked to participate in pictures, so these are some random ones from the last few weeks.

Bode's "I'm too tired to hold up my head anymore."
I think the faces in this picture speak for themselves!
Bode loves the exersaucer and spends a lot of her time putting the animals into her mouth...no hands even needed!
 Say cheese!
Getting ready for her first experience with Rice cereal.
After...she loved it and made less of a mess then either of my other kids.

Matchy Scratchy!

I realize there is an age where I won't be able to dress them alike any more, so I'm doing it more now.  Harrison felt left out last time, so yesterday, they all matched.  Again Bode is outgrowing everything fast, so I will have to look into more matching stuff in bigger sizes.  But yesterday, they all matched!  And boy, do they all look like they came from the same mold.

I love these 3 even if it is nearly impossible to get them to all look at the camera and smile at the same time!  At least I tried!

Humble Soccer

Last Friday night Deana got tickets and we took the kids out and headed to a local soccer game/fundraiser for the high school.  The kids had fun playing on the bleachers, eating hot dogs and watching some soccer.

Downtown Houston Aquarium

Last Friday, we had the opportunity to go to the aquarium for a steal of a deal, so I talked Deana into taking the day off work and we headed to the aquarium.  The Houston Aquarium is a lot of fun, but kind of a fun aquarium.  They have amusement park rides, a real white tiger and birds.  Weird, but that mixed with the fish, the sting ray exhibit and the shark train make it a fun place for all ages.  And we spent the time doing it all.  Jeff told me to take a lot of pictures, so I went a little overboard.  Luckily, I only put about 2% of the pictures I took up here!

Harrison, our underwater explorer.

Fishy kisses.
She loved the lights in the aquarium tanks and did her best to see them.

Petting the stingrays.  Harrison liked it a lot more then Raegan.

Feeding the stingrays.  I loved listening to Harrison giggle!

Bode spent a lot of time in here.
The carousel .

The Lighthouse Dive...do you believe he is tall enough to ride?  I was excited for him, but nervous too!
The Farris Wheel.

The Shark Train.
It was a really fun, but exhausting day.  Everyone went home happy!

5 months

Time just keeps on flying by.  This little girl continues to amaze and make us fall in love everyday!  She started as my littlest baby and had continued to grow.  We take her in for formal measurements next month but I'm pretty sure she is my tallest and biggest baby.  She is a great sleeper, sleeping through the night and taking 2 shorter naps during the day.  Her napping is all over the place but that is my fault...we usually have a lot going on during the week.  She is also a great eater.  She will play with a pacifier more then actually suck on it and bottles are pretty much nonexistent.  She would rather sleep or play and hold out for the real thing.  Anything you put in front of her she will try and get in her mouth though.  We will see how she takes to table food in the coming month.  She loves to smile, laugh and hang out in her exersaucer.  She also loves  to be on her back sucking on her toes.  Her brother and sister don't give her much breathing room, but she really doesn't seem to mind.  She puts up with A LOT...a lot more then I would or want her to have to put up with!

She is truly our little angel and we love her so much.

Always trying to get those toes.

Blue Bell Factory and Brenham, TX

Since Deana has moved here we have had big plans to go and take her around some great places in Texas.  Well, having a baby has slowed a lot of that, but finally we are getting out.  So, for MLK day, we made the hour trip out to Brenham and toured the Blue Bell factory.  Something I have wanted to do since moving to Texas, but haven't braved by myself with the kids.

It was great and you get ice cream at the end, so win-win.  The tour was really fun and I learned a lot about Blue Bell and ice cream in general.  And they released a brand new flavor the day we were there, so we were one of the first to try I <3 awesome="" chocolate...it="" p="" was="">
Just before our tour started.

Can't take pictures during the tour, so we got some when we sat down to ice cream.

Raegan digging into the new flavor.  You can tell she hasn't started yet, because when she was done, there was a lot of chocolate that didn't make it in her mouth.

This is Bode's "You got an ice cream ticket for me and I don't even get to try any!"

Harrison loved the tour and the ice cream.  And I loved this face.
After the  tour we thought we would visit old Downtown Brenhem.  It was a cute little town and the kids were good while we walked up and down the main street.  I let them detour and throw some rocks in a fountain before heading to lunch at a little cafe called the Funky Art Cafe.  Food was great.  Then we loaded up and headed home.  It was fun to do something a little different.

January Randomness

Since January has come and gone...I should probably get some pictures up.  We had a few fun outings this month and I will do those next, but for now, just some of our everyday fun.

Harrison and Bode watching a movie.  She sits and watches a lot better then her older sister!

We have been spending a lot of time in the backyard whenever it is nice out.  We have some bad days and then the kids can't wait to get out.
Harrison loves anything Ninja these days.  He loves to show off his Ninja moves.

Raegan just loves to explore and smile for the camera.

Bode is just a cute observer to the outside fun.

And what would having two girls close together if you don't dress them alike.  Grandma Ward got them these dresses and I think this was the last Sunday that Bode will fit in her dress.  I love these dresses and I will miss them.  Good thing I have a few other options for matching!

Notice the sheer fear on Bode's face.

And Raegan was pretty upset when I let Harrison photobomb and hold Bode.  Her face is awesome I think (does that make me a bad mom?)!
Harrison loves his little sister too.
And when Bode is flat on her back she has her toes in her mouth or is reaching for her toes.  If I had to sum up Bode in a Yoga pose it would be Happy Baby!
Raegan had a rough meeting with the concrete when getting out of the van before scouts a few weeks ago.  She had scrapes and a fat lip.  This was the morning after and it was already looking better.
Usually when I finish feeding Bode she wakes up while I burp her.  Apparently, she was pretty tired this day.
Last week we got "snow" in Texas.  My kids had fun playing in it, but you couldn't fool them.  Harrison walked outside and said "it's just ice, where is the snow?"  They played for a few minutes and ate icicles off the swingset before coming in for hot chocolate.  Texas winter right there!

January flew by.  Now on to the fun trips we made before heading into February.
