With this little one I guess the answer is briefs. At least that is what he picked out for potty training! And the last 2 weeks have gone very well. With the occasional accident (usually involving #2) we have done really well. He is in underwear all day (even naps) and then wears a diaper at night. But most mornings has woken up dry. Usually about 6:30 he starts yelling "I gotta go Potty!" We have been able to make several outings and have always found a bathroom to use. It has been fairly easy and a good experience for all of us! We are almost out of diapers and just in time for swimming all summer!
Sporting the Buzz underwear...he picked out a package of Disney underwear. Surprise, surprise!

Awesome!! Way to go Harrison!! Such a big boy... and a cute one at that. My only piece of advice (based solely on our experience and not on any profound knowledge of potty training) would be not to do the diaper at night because it can be confusing-- kind of like saying you need to go potty in the toilet always, except sometimes it's ok not to. Just a thought. We never did pullups or diapers once we started potty training (we used an e-book) and it went soooo well. We just limited liquids at night and he did great. We had the occasional accident but no more than any other kid. I know there are people with 6 year olds that are still wearing pullups at night, because they got used to it and it has been hard now to take that safety net out. Again, just a thought.
