Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo

March in Houston means Rodeo time. And with that comes the carnival, live stock show, rodeo, concerts and all sorts of fun. This year we decided to get tickets and leave Harrison with friends. We had a great time and tried to experience it all!

The Rodeo (we saw the bareback riders)
The carnival rides

The food (we all had to try a giant turkey leg!)

The concert (we saw Billy Currington) It was a good set, but I was hoping it would have been longer! He didn't even play Party for 2!

The carnival games (I won a tiger!)

And of course the livestock show. We saw cows, chickens hatching, pigs and 2 day old piglets, sheep, goats and of course a Texas Longhorn! This wasn't even the one with the biggest horns!
We had a great time and it was so different from bringing Harrison last year. It was great to have friends to leave him with so we could enjoy a fun afternoon/night out with Jeff and Dillan. I might take him this week to see the animals though!
