It's March...Already!?

I don't know where the time goes! It was a beautiful week though and we enjoyed A LOT of outside time. Usually morning and afternoon. We went to the park with friends and we went by ourselves. We went on walks and found treasures (aka sticks, rocks, bugs) along the way and neighborhood animals to pet. We are trying to enjoy all the outside time, before it turns to only going outside to swim time. I love spring!

And in the spring comes yard work (not a huge fan of that part!) I remember telling my mom growing up that my whole yard was either going to be all concrete or all grass that we could just mow fast! Well, that is not the way it is, so we headed out on Friday to get all the supplies we needed to get our yard in shape. Harrison really wanted to buy a lawn mower...too bad are yard is way to small for a riding mower!
Then on Saturday morning, we had this to look forward too. Harrison loved watching the rain come down.

Despite the morning showers, we got all our yard work done. We weeded, mowed, edged, fertilized, re-seeded, added dirt, treated for weeds and for fire ants and finished with new mulch! It was a productive day and hopefully after all the stuff starts working, we will have the best looking yard around! Or at least one we enjoy playing in that is weed and fire ant free!
