National Night Out

Tuesday night (Oct. 5) was National Night Out. A chance to get out and meet our neighbors. Usually we aren't big on our HOA events because they are so crowded and crazy. But we came out this time because they were going to have a fire truck, a police car and an emergency response truck. All of these are Harrison's favorites. Anytime we see one drive by, he asks if he can ride. Every time I tell him no, I feel bad, but then again, how many people get to ride in a fire truck?! I never have!

Well, we didn't get to ride, but we got to explore and explore we did! He loved every minute of it!

Ready for his ride!
One of the fire fighters even let Harrison try on his hat. It was so heavy, he didn't really like to have it on his head!
Ready for the hoses.
Some big wheels. He ran from wheel to wheel, shouting "wheels".

Trying to figure out the seatbelt. He thought that if he got the seatbelt buckled, we would be able to ride. Sorry buddy!
I love how closely he is watching.
He flipped on every light switch in the squad and then even found the sirens. It was so loud!

We had a great time at our National Night Out!
