Some Random December Moments

Well, December was a month of much excitement at our house but we got though it all. We had some great times at home and with family. Here are some non-Christmas highlights.

We start here with our little clone of Jeff...right about the 19th of December, Harrison started feeling sick. He had a fever and was really congested. The only good thing was that he was really calm and cuddly (I miss the cuddling!). He wanted to just lay on the couch with you and relax, so during the football game, Daddy gave him his very own drink...he looks just like his dad!
(He isn't really drinking it either, we didn't open it but he was trying to drink it). As far as the sickness, after 4 days of fever, we took him to the Dr. and found out he had a sinus infection. Luckily he was on antibiotics (which had it's own negative effects) and was on the mend when we made our holiday travels.
He quickly decided he would rather have the remote then his drink.
Harrison has learned to give kisses. It is so sweet and he doesn't come at you with a big open mouth. We learned during Christmas though that he will give kisses to anyone so watch out unless you want a kiss from Harrison! I know I love it!
Still relaxing and reading the paper while Daddy does his crossword puzzle. I think he wants me to just put the camera away.
Harrison loves eating ice chips. He is always begging them from Jeff. We can put him in his highchair with a tray and ice chips and he is happy until he runs out or his hands are about to fall off from freezer burn...we gave him a cup of ice in the car and it made the trip much easier. The chair had to dry out for a while but it was just water!
Before he got sick (December 18th) I took Harrison to a park by our house. We have driven by it several times but have never gone. We picked a great day and Harrison had a blast! There was so much to do that Harrison was busy for over an hour...that is a long time for a 14 month old to stay with anything. The park has a rubbery floor all around it too which is so nice compared to the woodchips we get everywhere else. We have gone back once and plan to return many more times.
My blue-eyed angel!
